Our history
Beginning
Lan Airlines created its subsidiary Lan Courier in 1996. This organization began as a local courier and already in the second half of 1998 deepened its services to logistics operations, specializing in distribution. With a network of offices, warehouses, trucks throughout Chile.
Lan Courier starts its operations.
In 2001, Lan Courier began its storage and inventory management operations by opening the Distribution Center with 5,500 m² of surface area, with the highest security standards and state-of-the-art technology.
Likewise, and with the motivation of continuous growth, in the same year 2001, the distribution services business with international courier was expanded.
Blue Express is born
In 2008, with the experience of more than 10 years in the field of logistics, Lan Courier changes its brand to Blue Express.
Arrival of Bethia Group
In 2011, Blue Express is acquired by Bethia Group and in 2014 it is installed in 80,000 m² strategically located in the district of Pudahuel.
Kinza Capital y Altis Principal Investments
As of March 2019, Blue Express is acquired by a fund controlled by Kinza Capital and Altis Principal Investments.
